A mortgage escrow account is an account set up by the lender to hold funds for property taxes and homeowners insurance. Each month, a portion of your mortgage payment goes into the escrow account, and when these bills are due, the lender pays them on your behalf.

Review: My experience from beginning to end was amazing, transparent, supportive, informative and very different from my first home purchase. Not that the team I had was not good, they just didn't approach my home purchase as Ryan did. Ryan and his team made sure I was aware and understood each step of the loan process via, text and phone calls. Their response was immediate and never seemed to be rushed or as if my question were not important to not just me but to them as well. Ryan was honest and never sold any promises or pies in the sky. He made sure I managed my own expectations based on my set budget and the needs I expressed to him in the beginning. He helped me stay on course, focused and truth to my own finances so I didn't go over budget. No one ever has to ever go above and beyond the scope of their services but Ryan and his team did just that. I never felt lost or out of the loop working with them and that was key since I did the majority of my process away from home on military leave away for school training. His work ethics put me at ease during a process that could have been very difficult and frustrating. I truly appreciate the care given to me and do hope that every homebuyer is able to experience what I experienced with Ryan on the team.
